Animal control laws, regulations, ordinances, and agency policies vary significantly between states, counties, and municipalities.While this course presents nationally recognized principles and best practices, learners are responsible for understanding and following the laws, regulations, and policies applicable to their own jurisdiction.If course content differs from your agency's policies or applicable law, your agency's policies and the law always take precedence.
Certification
The Certified Animal Control Professional (CACP) designation is awarded by Keep It Humane, LLC to learners who successfully complete all required course components and assessments.The CACP designation represents successful completion of the standards established by Keep It Humane, LLC.Unless specifically stated, the CACP designation is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or accredited by any governmental agency, law enforcement organization, professional association, or regulatory authority.
Course Access & Licensing
Enrollment provides each learner with a single-user, non-transferable license to access the course.
Your enrollment permits:
-Individual access by the registered learner-Personal professional development-Access to course resources included with enrollment
Your enrollment does not permit:
-Sharing login credentials-Allowing another individual to complete the course under your account-Recording course videos or presentations-Copying assessments or course materials-Redistributing course content-Uploading course materials to other websites or learning platforms-Commercial use of any course content without written permission
Violation of these terms may result in suspension or termination of course access without refund.
